Earthquake Repairs January 2012
Unfortunately our building sustained some damage in the earthquakes, and it's being repaired at the moment. We are re-opening on Monday 13 February 2012 - hope you can last until then!

We are closed today for the Canterbury Earthquake Commemoration Day. We will be open regular hours from Saturday 19 March 2011.

We are selling takeaway coffees (real ones!) from 9.00am-2.30pm Wednesday and Thursday. The laundromat is also operational. We will be fully open for business on Friday 4 March, from 9am-4pm.

We are open for coffees (real ones!) from 11.30am-2.30pm. Free pies too! The laundromat is also operational.

We will be closed for business until next Friday 4 March. However, we will be open from 11.30am-2.30pm every day until then for a free sausage sizzle and cups of tea/coffee if you want to come and chat with friends or use the wireless internet. The laundromat is also operational.

Another earthquake! The cafe building survived OK, but we are closed for business today and tomorrow (Thursday).
Christmas 2010
We will be closed for a couple of weeks to give our staff a break. Our last day open in 2010 is Friday 24 December. We will re-open on Monday 10 January 2011.

Yes, we are open today! We have checked with the council regarding our building and we have come through the earthquake unscathed, no doubt due to the earthquake strengthening done during the renovations in 2008!
We are boiling water for three minutes before it goes through the coffee machine, so you can continue you to have the best coffee in town!
